Responsible for all aspects of the mechanical design and packaging of new product.

Provide technical support to business development and manufacturing units.

Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal and specifications to determine feasibility of design or application.

Firm understanding and experience of DFM and DFA as applied to product design.

The Position
The Senior Optical Engineer will develop and design visible and near IR laser diode collimated beam products using aspheric and doublet lenses, mirrors, prisms, light pipes, LEDs and other light emitting and light sensitive devices. This person will also assist in solving optical manufacturing problems of medium volume (1000's/month) high mix products. The candidate is required to have a working knowledge of industry standard good practices as well as the appropriate laser safety standards. The ideal candidate will be fluent with Gaussian beam analysis in conjunction with a basic/intuitive understanding of thermal analysis. Actual lens design is not a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities:

Designs optical subassemblies for new products/product improvements and research

Design various mounts for optics; apply tolerance analysis to produce practical components.

Identify both mechanical and bonding methods for assemblies to meet maintenance and repair requirements of products.

Assists in the design of optical tooling to test optical systems for quality and to provide process feedback in manufacturing.

Confers with engineering and technical personnel regarding fabrication and testing of prototype systems.

Manage outside optical vendors to assure quality components arrive on schedule.

Conduct application analysis to determine commercial, industrial, scientific, medical, military uses for electro-optical devices.

Assists with development of manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication processes.

Works with electrical and mechanical engineering staff to develop and design new products.

Works closely with the Laser Safety Officer (LSO) on matters of laser safety

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 5-10 years of manufacturing or product development experience required; Master's Degree or higher preferred.

Minimum 5 years experience with ZEMAX or CODE IV optical CAD software; SolidWorks experience a plus.

Experience in laser safety as per ANSI Z136.1 Safe Use of Lasers standard

U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite with an emphasis of analysis inExcel

Currently, we have a Senior Project Manager position available at our company headquarters located in downtown Seattle, WA.

This position will be responsible for managing the Project Designers, Architects, and Interior Designers on assigned projects and will include planning, budgeting, assigning, and directing work on each project. Developing and managing contracts with Owner and with consultants is also required.

The ideal candidate will have an Architecture degree and at least 15 years of professional experience, including 5-10 years as a Project Manager. Architect license and LEED accreditation are strongly desired.

A successful individual will demonstrate the ability to develop and manage technical and design content, manage multiple project types such as new construction, renovations, and TI's, and have a background in managing commercial and corporate projects. Demonstrated experience in the public sector is also strongly desired; universities, local and state governments and federal entities such as DoD, GSA, and USACE. Direct experience managing fulfillment on LEED projects will be a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong account management skills are required. The candidate must be capable with freehand drawing and AutoCAD, and fluent with MS Office Suite, particularly with MS Word, Excel and Project.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from four year college or university in related field, and five or more years of work experience. Master's Degree (M.S.) a plus

Strong working knowledge of C/C++ programming language and related languages. Good ability to design real-time control systems (e.g. PID), state-machines and semaphore-based control loops as they relate to electro-optical systems.

Experience with PC-based Visual Programming tools such as LabView for GUI development.

Experience with revision control and software release tools in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in developing embedded SW on Microchip PIC, ARM Cortex-M3 and similar processors. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processor platforms.

Strong working knowledge of embedded serial communication protocols including SPI, I2C, RS-232/422/485, USB and Ethernet.

Excellent troubleshooting skills with standard laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Ability to work with prototype printed circuit cards and debug complex problems. Able to direct technicians in measuring or reworking prototype circuitry.

Ability to prototype new concepts and respond to changing market conditions.

About the position:
The Women's Soccer Coach position is located at Trinity Lutheran College's new downtown Everett campus center! This quarter time position entails building, directing and coaching the Trinity Lutheran College women's soccer program. The incumbent will also be charged with securing locations for soccer team practices and competitions; securing a competitive team through outreach and recruitment efforts; for organizing practices and training and scheduling of all activities. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

The new incumbent will:

Recruit, train, and coach members of the Trinity soccer program.

Coordinate the total development and promotion of Trinity soccer program.

Perform administrative tasks including budget formulation.

Represent Trinity Lutheran College and the women's soccer program in a professional manner.

Support ministry and service learning aspects of the women's soccer program.

Provide individual contact with qualified prospects and assigned applicants (letters, phone calls, visits).

Participate in annual planning meetings to coordinate programs and strategies.

Maintain current certifications in CPR and First Aid to be held on file in the Office of Athletics.

Be responsible for the conduct of student-athletes and other involved students at all times during practices, games, travel, other schools, etc.

Coordinate the issuance, care, inventory and collection of equipment, uniforms and supplies for women's soccer. Submit appropriate equipment inventory forms to the Athletic Director within the requested times.

Establish an environment in which Trinity student-athletes are encouraged to develop self-respect and a positive self-image.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

A strong commitment to the Student-Athlete concept and a working knowledge of the NAIA & NCCAA rules and regulations is required.

3 to 5 years coaching experience including effective, leadership, communication, coaching and recruiting skills. Collegiate level coaching experience is strongly preferred.

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

PC literate, familiar with Microsoft applications.

Ability to manage and prioritize several tasks, goals and deadlines at one time.

Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately, with minimal direct supervision.

Commitment to Christian higher education in the Lutheran tradition.
